Robot/SCHEDULE automates the operator duties of job scheduling and batch job management. Schedule jobs based on time patterns or in reaction to events on any iSeries in a network.
Automation of Interactive Jobs
Robot/REPLAY, a plug-in for Robot/SCHEDULE, automates the interactive job processes, including FTP. It creates a Replay object that you can copy, play back on a specified device, print, and schedule in Robot/SCHEDULE.
Notification Management
Robot/ALERT sends 2-way pager and e-mail messages in reaction to events on the system or from your programs. Use Robot/ALERT to notify an operator if your iSeries needs assistance, and let the operator send the answer back to your iSeries.
