IBM acquired DataMirror in 2007 and SOSY is consequently working with IBM as the supplier contact within the DataMirror field.

Since IBM themselves have very little expertise within DataMirror in the Nordics, IBM in both Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland have expressed sincere interest in SOSY continuing as a DataMirror partner.

InfoSphere CDC

IBM DataMirror's InfoSphere CDC is a real-time data integration solution that captures data changes in production systems and loads it into other applications and data stores. With IBM DataMirror's unique log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) technology, data is extracted from mission-critical systems without impacting performance and allows up-to-the-second data to flow between systems to support real-time reporting, business intelligence and synchronization of business applications.

InfoSphere CDC provides data transformation functionality and supports all major databases on all platforms.

iCluster

IBM DataMirror's iCluster is a powerful high availability and disaster recovery solution that helps organizations eliminate the problems associated with unavailable business data. iCluster mirrors critical DB2 application data and objects in real time from a primary system to one or more secondary systems.

With iCluster, organizations can conduct high-speed operational switching for uninterrupted data access between geographically distant locations during planned and unplanned downtime.

Workload distribution is also possible with iCluster. Use iCluster to distribute processing load and network use across multiple systems. Users can use the secondary systems during the mirroring process to run read-only business applications, backups or queries to improve the performance and response times of business applications.
