TestDrive Assist from Original Software optimizes manual testing by automating the whole documentation process. This can save up to 50% of the tester's time, as documentation traditionally is an extremely time-consuming task.
With TestDrive Assist the tester's work is done, as soon as the manual test process has been completed. All screens are captured, all database entries too. No more need to go back and re-find an error, decide which screens to capture to document the problem etc. Everything is automatically captured along the way!
During the test, testers can add notes directly to the screen shots along the way as they encounter problems or bugs. These comments can be rated as either critical or just regular making it easy for the manager or programmer receiving the automatically generated report.
At the end of the manual test process, the tester decides whether the test should “Pass” or “Fail”.
