Performance Analysis

SOSY's free Performance X-ray will tell you if you have any jobs putting an unreasonable performance load on your system!
 
The Performance X-ray analyzes data from two days and produces a report showing how many unnecessary I/O's your jobs are using, which jobs are using the most CPU% etc. etc.
 
We often see examples of jobs with hundred of thousands, or even several millions too many I/O's.

How do we collect your data?
SOSY's performance analysis tool, GiAPA, will collect the data to be analyzed. (Don't worry, GiAPA will only use around 1/1000 of your CPU!) Send the resulting output file to SOSY's tech support, and we will generate the free Performance X-ray report showing how your top twenty jobs are affecting your system.
