Welcome to SOSY INFO - June 2008
SOSY has been happily enjoying a longer period of increased growth - among other areas, in the Swedish market and on the Danish change management arena. At the same time we have had the opportunity to enter the German market and have, in so doing, increased our activities in the Swedish and German markets.
SOSY expands in Sweden and Germany Carl Schnell has been working with increasing intensity in Sweden throughout the last twelve months. Many of you have already made acquaintance with him, either through a call, a visit, or a meeting at the Data3 conference (Swedish Common Group) in October. Carl is an experienced adviser within the sale of strategic IT solutions. Based in Stockholm, he covers the Swedish market, well backed up by the support department in Copenhagen.
SOSY Deutschland saw the light of day in October. Our newly established department is based in Friedrichshafen, southern Germany, where we service all the German-speaking markets within the following business areas:
- Change Management – automation of source and version control, task and ticket management
- Test – manual and automated test, test optimisation and test planning
- Performance – System i application optimization
- Documentation – source analysis and access
We have been fortunate in getting a well-known figure from the German market to lead the department: Alfredo Battisti has previously worked with change management at a competing organisation and is therefore well aware of the problem areas.

Updating of GiAPA, Robot/SPACE, etc. This SOSY INFO also provides information on several exciting new product versions. In June we will be releasing GiAPA 2.0 which will support performance of Java applications running on System i! Robot/SPACE version 3 has also been released with a series of enhancements that enable better and smarter disk surveillance.
Great interest in SOSY's new change management solution Last, but not least, we have come flying out of the starting-blocks with our change management solution from Aldon, where we already have four users in Denmark: Logica, Jyske Finans, Spar Invest and Vestas, as well as a number of interested companies in Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland. This success is, of course, due to SOSY's wide experience in change management, an area in which we have worked since 2002.
SOSY extends good wishes for a great summer – good reading, see you again in Q3.
Best regards,
Helle Mering Director hm@sosy.dk
