Welcome back to SOSY INFO! SOSY has had a busy summer. We turned 20, moved to a new office location and have been busy learning about the new solutions and releases which we can now bring to market!

New solutions and updates
From Aldon we have two exciting news to share with you. Aldon's new Build Release Management (BRM) solution automates software distribution independently of which change management solutions is being used. This means that companies can go on using the 3rd party change management solutions that they are satisfied with, and still take advantage of Aldon's substantial expertise within software distribution. In addition to this Aldon will soon be releasing Aldon Report Manager which will significantly enhance the reporting facilities for all users of Lifecycle Manager. At a snapshot Aldon Report Manager will give you a web-based overview of the current releases, activity reports from development, exception reports, change history, and you will have extensive drill-down capabilities for detailed information. Compliance reporting will become much easier! We look forward to telling you more when Report Manager for LMi has been officially released from Aldon.
 
From Original Software are happy to introduce Qualify, a strong new test management tool which can help testers, project leaders, test managers, and QA managers stay on top of all test activities. The tool can be customized for use to suit just your needs. Both manual and automated tests can be launched directly from Qualify, and all results are stored within Qualify which therefore enables extensive drilldown for additional analysis. Read more here

Another exciting release from Original Software is TestBench for SQL Server which has just come out. TestBench for SQL Server provides solid testing capabilities for environments with SQL Server including data extraction, data scrambling, analysis of database effects during test processes, and the ability to roll back data to various checkpoints in the process.

SOSY's performance analysis tool, GiAPA from iPerformance, now offers graphical reporting. This implies that reports for management purposes are much more user-friendly as they give a quick overview of the performance status for multiple or single applications. The ability to create customized templates ensures that you can get just the performance overview you want. Read more about the latest version of GiAPA here

As a reseller of the Help/Systems' product line SOSY is happy to announce that we in addition to the well-known Robot products, the ABSTRACT documentation package, and SEQUEL business intelligence tool, can offer the security product suite from PowerTech. PowerTech, a strong veteran in the security area, was acquired by Help/Systems a couple of years back. The first activities in the security area will be a workshop seminar in Copenhagen on October 20th and a session in Stockholm at the Swedish Common Conference on Wednesday November 11th.
